Program Information

The Urban Youth Academy will host Kansas City Area youth as part of the US Conference of Mayors support of Major League Baseball's "Play Ball" initiative, which focuses on the fun nature of baseball and softball and encourages participation in related activities. Participants will play fun baseball and softball activities during the event. This no cost event is geared towards children ages five to twelve.  The Kansas City Royals Mascot, Sluggerrr will also make a guest appearance.
