Join us for our hybrid Speed/Agility & Strength/Conditioning program instructed by our Athletic Trainer Malik Green MSES, ATC, LAT. For this iteration, we will be extending the days to THREE days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. During this program athletes will train in both speed and agility, while also incorporating strength and conditioning. Athletes will improve their performance and skills with speed training, balance and coordination training, and change of direction training; while also improving their performance and skills with bodyweight movements, conditioning work, and supersets to help them build a stronger foundation for a functionally fit athlete. With this program the athletes will learn essential movement patterns to help build elite athletes. This course will be three days a week for six weeks (18 sessions total). Tuesday nights will be strength and conditioning, Wednesday nights will be speed and agility, and Thursday nights will be a hybrid of speed/agility and strength/conditioning. Athletes will learn common muscle groups, proper technique, and common movement patterns associated with sports. This will be instructed between the end of Open Gym and the beginning of Programming on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. Only 16 athletes will be allowed to participate, per session, to keep a safe and productive environment.
