The 2026 Jennie Finch Classic tryout will be a two-day evaluation for a 17u softball team that will travel to Philadelphia, PA during Major League Baseball All Star Weekend to compete in a 9 team tournament versus the other MLB Youth Academies. The team will be compromised of 14 players and 3 coaches. During this 5 day experience, the UYA Team will compete in a tournament and attend various All Star Weekend Festivities including but not limited to, MLB Home Run Derby, PlayBall Park, Celebrity Softball Game, HBCU Swingman Classic and many others.

The tryouts will consist of evaluations of speed, defense, hitting, bullpens, and simulated scrimmages.

Round 1: Monday 2/23 6:00pm-9:00pm

Round 2: (Invite only): Tuesday 2/24 6:00pm-9:00pm

Attire: Softball Pants

Age as of July 15th (13-17; Cannot turn 18 until July 15th)

Tournament Date: July 9th-July 15th

Tournament Location: Philadelphia, PA
