The Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Royals Foundation, and Kansas City Urban Youth Academy will celebrate MLB PLAY BALL Weekend presented by Nike from June 5–7, 2026, with three days of youth‑focused clinics and activities designed to introduce and grow the game of baseball and softball throughout the Kansas City community. All participants will receive a PLAY BALL T‑shirt and a Franklin Bat & Ball set.

Program Information

Saturday, June 6th Clinic 

On Saturday, the Royals will host a free PLAY BALL Clinic designed to introduce children ages 5–12 to both baseball and softball in a fun and engaging environment. Check‑in will begin at 9:30 a.m., with programming running from 10:00–11:30 a.m. Participants will rotate through skill‑building stations focused on fundamentals, teamwork, and play.
