The Royals RBI Regional Softball Team tryouts will be held on Thursday June 25th, from 6-8pm. If a player is selected to advance further, additional workouts will be held Sunday June 28th, and Thursday July 2nd also from 6pm-8pm. This is open to all Nike RBI Softball participants ages 13-18 (see below for further detail). Players will be evaluated for the potential to represent Kansas City and Royals RBI in the upcoming Nike RBI Central Region Tournament being held in Kansas City, July 16th-19th. 

The age requirement for the softball division is based on league age (13 – 18) determined by a September 1st birthdate cutoff. Rostered participants on a softball team must be born between September
1, 2006, and August 31, 2012. Participants who graduated high school in 2025 or prior to are not
permitted to participate in tournament
