The 2027 Softball evaluations and tryouts will be for our special event softball teams and opportunities for the 2027 summer. On Tuesday August 4^th and Thursday August 6^th we will hold workouts and evaluations from 6:00pm-8:00pm for ladies who are interested in our special event softball opportunities. This is a chance for coaches to identify and evaluate players early and continue to work with them throughout the year. These events are for participants ages 13-18.

When: Tuesday August 4 and Thursday August 6 6:00pm-8:00pm 

Where: Urban Youth Academy

What: Come prepared in softball gear as we will work through defensive evaluations, offensive evaluations, speed, and game situations

Jennie Finch Classic 17u Softball Tournament July 8-July 13 in Chicago, IL

At no cost tournament and experience at Major League Baseball’s All-Star Weekend

2026 Nike RBI Central Region 13-18 Softball Tournament (July; exact date TBD)

Nike RBI Softball All Star Team that will compete versus other RBI programs for a trip to the Nike RBI World Series in Vero Beach, FL

2026 Nike RBI World Series (2^nd week in August, exact dates TBD)

Must win the Regional tournament to advance to the World Series.

MLB Develops Opportunities

Major League Baseball Youth Development department hosts 5-day at no cost softball showcases and camps where players train and learn from softball ambassadors including Jennie Finch, Natasha Watley, and Lauren Chamberlain at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, FL.
